Meet Executive Director Misha Cleveland, and learn about her vision for Sounds.
After pursuing rock star ambitions, camping in the Amazon and completing an Ecology Masters degree at Penn State, Misha Cleveland has settled in Happy Valley, PA. She is highly motivated to be a positive force in her community and, in 2013 saw an opportunity to expand the local music scene.
“State College is my new hometown, and there is large audience, particularly community members under 21, who want an open-late place where they can socialize and enjoy music and art-centered events. This kind of atmosphere is hard to find in State College, but Sounds is meeting this need!”
Say hello to the Board of Directors working to coordinate Sounds to be the best it can be!
